End your year with a bang at Park Inn by Radisson Davao as it offers its guests and Dabawenyos the shapes and colors of the holiday season with culinary delights at the RBG Bar & Grill.
Last December 12, 2017, I was invited to try out the food RBG Bar & Grill for the hotels Christmas Eve and New Years Eve celebration.
A portion of the restaurant was setup for a feast for bloggers and members of the local media in Davao City.
It was truly a feast as the whole area was surrounded by food and sweets. There were so many to choose from that I was confused on where to start when we began! One side you have the food they are preparing for Noche Buena and the other for Media Noche.
Once the feast began, I went directly for the Traditional Holiday Ham. Then I got some Roasted Chicken with pear cinnamon sauce and Apple, leak, potato, and carrot soup and clear soup of beef. I also had the Shrimp and vegetable kebab and the Osso Buco.
For desserts, I went a bit crazy as I got myself Christmans strawberry chocolate trifle, peppermint oreo pops, glazed donut, firecracker cupcake, cronut, and a lemon lavender cream puff. I also had a glass of eggnog, which was really good.
Personally, I enjoyed every dish I tried during our dinner here. I really enjoyed the ham and the firecracker cupcake.
Park Inn by Radisson Davao really knew how to prepare a feast, there were so many options to choose from and I did my best to have a taste of each. Unfortunately, I was only able to try a handful of it.
You can enjoy these delicious dishes, cakes, assorted pastries, and the Traditional Holiday Ham on Christmas Eve at the RBG Bar & Grill for P990 ner per person, with free flowing juices.
For the Christmas Eve feast enjoy their salad bar, which will have three kinds of lettuce and other accompaniments with six types of dressing. They will also have an extensive spread with their RBG Charcuterie, which will include Malagos cheese, imported cheese, cold cuts, dried fruits, nuts, olives, kalamata, and bread sticks.
The Christmas Eve buffet will also include Apple salad with smoked chicken salad; Pink peppercorn seared tuna; Apple, leak, potato, and carrot soup and clear soup of beef; Pumpkin cinnamon and clear soup of chicken with bread wreath; Blue Marlin tail with salsa; Roasted chicken with pear cinnamon sauce; Leg of ham, and Porchetta, among others.
For desserts the restaurant is preparing a log cake, tree donuts station, peppermint Oreo pops, coffee cinnamon-caramel brownies, Christmas strawberry chocolate trifle, winter forest cake, ginger bread house, eggnog station, and French macaroons.
If you missed the Christmas feast, then prepare yourself for their New Year’s Eve Countdown Party at P1,888 net per person.
Aside from the salad bar and the charcuterie, RBG Bar and Grill will also be preparing Kinilaw sa gata with salmon; Shrimp and vegetable kebab; Turkey apple cranberry; Osso buco; Lechon; and three kinds of pizza (Roasted Vegetable, Seafood, and Four-cheese), among others.
The desserts of the New Year’s Eve Countdown Party include a Geometric 2018 Cake, firecracker cupcakes, rainbow creppe mille cake, lemon lavender cream puff, cinnamon black sambo, cake pops, drip cake, macaron tower, and an interactive donuts and cronut station with sugar glaze, sugar sprinkles, chocolate sauce, caramel, chopped nuts, choco chips, and candies.
Aside from the feast you can expect for Noche Buena and Media Noche, Park Inn by Radisson Davao has also launched its holiday room promos.
