Tucked within the rows of food establishments along F. Torres St., is one of the few in the area that serves Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisines.
Shatter Kebab has been around in Davao city for quite sometime but it has continuously improved its menu in the past few years. I have witnessed how they continuously developed their menu and so far I am loving what they are offering.
For March, the Davao Digital Influencers organized its first Davao Food Crawl for the year. Initiated by Sarah Dayrit (davaofoodtographer.com), bloggers and some vloggers from the group visited some restaurants and cafes in Davao City.
One of the restaurants we visited was Shatter Kebab.
The restaurant offers a variety of dishes that are packed with flavors and will have you wanting for more.
For our visit here, the restaurant served the Hummus Trio, Ultimate Kebab Platter, Shakshuka, and Smoked Chicken Shawarma.

The Hummus Trio (P245) is a great way to start a meal here. The dish has their signature hummus served in three ways — classic hummus, baba ganoush, and roasted beet humus — with pita. I also encourage you guys to try their Spicy Buffalo Hummus.

Another kick-starter to a meal here is the Shakshuka (P175). The dish is egg poached in spiced tomato sauce with sweet red pepper, garlic, and other spices. This is also served with pita. This is one of my favorite dishes here. I love the heat that you get from the spices.

For the main course, the Ultimate Kebab Platter (P445). The platter includes classic kebab, spicy kebab, cumin-spiced kebab, shish kofte kebab, chicken koft, and joojeh kebab with sides of shirazi salad and grilled tomatoes.

The Smoked Chicken Shawarma is a new dish the restaurant is offering. It includes chicken grilled for eight hours and mangoes. While it may be a tummy filling wrap, I think it was quite light because of the mangoes and the vegetables. I also love how bright the dish looks in terms of color and presentation.
