Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf celebrates 20th Anniversary in PH

Happy 20th year Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf!

For those who are not aware, CBTL was where Kape Diaries was created. It was just a random weekend when I happened to bump into a friend at the coffee shop. She told me I should make a blog called Coffee Shop Diaries. Just a bit of context, before, I use the hashtag #CoffeeShopDiaries on posts about stuff I overhear or observe at coffee shops

Anyway, a few days later, I started the Coffee Shop Diaries blog and later changing it to Kape Diaries.

Therefore, CBTL has a very special place in my heart. It was also here where I started my coffee journey. After having so many cups of coffee here and reading about the different beans and roasts they have, I wanted to explore more.

For the last 20 years, CBTL has been making meaningful experiences for their guests. And the hours I spent at CBTL have been nothing but meaningful be it becoming friends with their baristas, meeting people, or seeing my crush.

To celebrate their 20th year, CBTL is rolling out its Voyager Series. These are “thoughtfully designed unisex bags with functionality and style in mind.” It has two
variations — Astronaut (dark blue) and Milky Way (cream white).

“Both bags come with adjustable brown leather straps and shoulder pad; it includes two front pockets, an inner pocket, and a special compartment for your favorite CBTL tumbler. This is the start of another stamping journey! Beginning on May 25, 2023 until July 25, 2023, complete 18 stamps to redeem the Astronaut or the Milky Way,” CBTL said in a statement.

The coffee chain added that “Every Voyager bag redeemed will help their partners – U-Go and Ayala Foundation – to support young women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue higher education and reach their dreams.”

For their anniversary drink, CBTL is introducing the Blueberry Cheesecake Ice Blended.

“It’s made of cold brew tea, brewed for 5 hours, blended with blueberry sauce and cheesecake powder, drizzled with more blueberry sauce and biscuit crumbs,” CBTL said. The drink is only available at a limited time in all CBTL stores nationwide.

Meanwhile, CBTL is also making available limited edition 16 oz 20th Anniversary reusable cups that come in two variations.
