Drinks to try at the Coffeepreneur Bazaar

July had a caffeinated start as the SM supermalls around the country organized their mall-wide coffee festival.

At SM City Davao, the Coffeepreneur Bazaar features a variety of homegrown coffee brands — Paramount, Curve Coffee, Hid’n, Coffee Simple, Better Beans Co., Kiel’s Coffee, BeansTalk, Norie Coffee, and The Good Cup Coffee Co. Finca de Garces, whose Arabica coffee beans placed first in the Philippine Coffee Quality Competition 2023, is also having a pop-up here in collaboration with FLTRD coffee.

The bazaar is being held for two weeks from July 1 to 15, 2023, and features a variety of coffee drinks that you can try for almost every day of the bazaar.

Here are some signature drinks I recommend you try during your visit to the bazaar.

Hid’n Coffee’s Milo Espresso

This is a chocolatey and nostalgic drink with a kick of espresso. I love that they use oat milk for this as it makes the drink maltier.

Coffee Simple’s Orange Americano

This is a refreshing drink that you will enjoy on hot days. The drinks just have the right amount of sweetness, tanginess, and coffee.

Kiel’s Coffee Espresso Cola

This caffeine-filled drink will definitely start your internal engines. An interesting yet enjoyable drink. However, this is not for the faint-hearted.

Better Beans Co.’s Caramel Macchiato

A classic favorite by many. The Caramel Macchiato is a sweet and milky coffee drink that even those who do not regularly drink coffee would enjoy.

Curve’s Taro Latte

An interesting mix of flavors but I believe Curve did a good job with this. You still get that earthiness from the taro and that distinct taste of coffee.

Paramount’s November Spice

As a cinnamon lover, I enjoyed this drink. While I had the iced version of this, I think its hot version would be better.

BeansTalk Sea Salt Latte

Sea Salt in your coffee is the trend nowadays for flavored coffee drinks. A sip of this will take your palates to an adventure as you experience sweetness, creaminess, saltiness, and the distinct taste of coffee.

Norie Coffee’s Twilight

Another refreshing citrus drink I enjoyed during my visits. I just love how you taste the sweet and citrus flavor first and get the bitterness of the coffee towards the end.

Pour-over coffee at Good Cup Coffee Co. and Finca de Garces

Both booths serve a great cup of pour over coffee. I highly recommend you try any of the beans they have available. As I have shared before, pour-over is a great way to experience the complexities of coffee and appreciate it.
