Exciting months to come

Recently, Kape Diaries became a member of the Davao Digital Influencers (DDI), a local organization of blogers and social media influencers.

Since I started blogging two years ago, I have always wanted to be a member of a local blogging community. When DDI was established last year, I made the decision to be part of the organization because I think that the organization, together with its experienced and successful members of bloggers and social media influencers, will be catalyst for the growth and development of my blog. Another reason for joining is I know some of the members, which will allow me to adjust with the group easily.

Just this year, I signified my membership with the group and officially became a member around two months ago.

Though I’m just new to the organization, I already have a couple of memorable experiences. However, the most memorable one would be my coverage of the opening of the LEGO Store in Abreeza Mall. My coverage to the opening was made possible through DDI.

For those of you who personally know me, I think you are aware of how much I love LEGOs.

I was so excited when the store opened. Also, now that the LEGO store is here, I now do not have to always drop by the LEGO Store in Manila to buy LEGO sets that I would want.
Aside from the opening of the LEGO store, I was able to further explore the budding food scene of Davao City with fellow DDI-members.

Also, creating content for my blog is no easy task and with Kape Diaries part of the DDI community, you guys can be assured of some great content on the local food scene and the local Davao City scene in general.
A lot has happened despite being with the group for only a few months but everything has been fun. With my initial experience with the community, I can say that the coming months will not be boring with the wonderful and lively community of DDI.

DDI is also celebrating its anniversary this month. Davao’s leading bloggers and social media influencers are set to gather on July 29, 2017 at the Pinnacle Hotel and Suties for a night of fun.

DDI would like to thank the following sponsors for their love and support:

Platinum: Smart Communications, Inc., AirAsia, FWD Life Philippines
Gold: PLDT Home
Silver: Jolly Canned Fruits and Vegetables
Bronze: Abreeza Ayala Mall
Benefactors: Lachi’s Sans Rival Atbp., Cecil’s Snack Inn & Restaurant, Seda Abreeza Hotel, Marco Polo Davao, Park Inn by Radisson Hotel Davao, M Magazine.
