The food scene in Davao City continues to be eventful with the staging of the Cravings at the Northwing at SM Lanang Premier on July 14 to 16.
The event coincides with the mall’s Great 3-Day Sale, also held from July 14 to 16. Shoppers can expect great promos and discounts during the three-day event.
SM Lanang Premier invited social media influencers and bloggers to check out what is being offered during the three-day food fair.
What I really enjoy about food fairs is the different kinds of food that are offered to its visitors.
Participating in this three-day fair are some of Davao City’s popular homegrown restaurants and pop-ups like Perch, The Griddle, Wild Wings, and The Fatboy’s Kitchen among others.
Some of my favorites are Perch’s Glorious Nachos, The Fatboy’s Kitchen’s Binagoongang Pancit Canton, Wild Wings’ Garlic Parmesan Wings, and a Korean Barbecue rice toppings from one of the stalls that I failed to take note of.
I love how meaty and cheesy Perch’s Glorious Nachos were. The ground beef was really flavorful.
The Fatboy’s Kitchen’s Binagoongang Pancit Canton was sinfully good.
Wild Wings’ Garlic Parmesan Wings was also a joy to eat. I love food with a good kick of garlic and this definitely delivers.
Lastly, the Korean Barbecue rice toppings was delicious though it was almost a tocino, which is also one of my favorite dishes in the world, rather than a Korean Barbecue. I started out with a small serving then minutes later, I ate it all.
I also had Lemonaddicts’ cucumber lemonade, which was refreshingly good.
Cravings at the Northwing is definitely a treat for Dabawenyos and the mall goers with delicious food from Davao City’s favorite established and pop-up restaurants.
